James Robinson, aged 30,  and John Robinson, aged 21, found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of Mark Davis in the parish of Wanstead on 21st September 1798: stealing therefrom a watch (valued at £2). A pair of silver shoe buckles (valued at 5/-), a cane (valued at 5/-), opera glasses (valued at 6d), a coat (valued at 5/-), 2 waistcoats (valued at 2/-) and 2 knives (valued at 6d).
